CMS stand for Content Management System.
AMS stand for Application Management System.
Some Popular CMS are Wordpress , Drupal , Joomla , MediaWiki , CMS Simple , Kajona etc.Where as Wordpress , Drupal and Joomla are wedely used to create blogs , News and Shopping type of websites.
Basic Concepts of User & Contents- CMS has two elements-
Content Management Application (CMA) is the front-end User Interface .With this interface user can add , modify & remove some contents of Website without Intervention of Web Master.
Content Display Applications (CDA)-it compiles that information & used to update the website.
